KVKK Clarification Text

As BotRefit, we process your personal data in our capacity as a data controller in accordance with the Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”). This text aims to transparently explain our methods of collecting, processing, storing, and transferring personal data.

1. Methods of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Grounds

Your personal data may be collected partially or fully through automated or non-automated means, including but not limited to contact forms, email correspondence, cookies, and similar technologies used on the BotRefit website.

Personal data is processed based on the legal grounds specified in Article 5 of KVKK, including explicit consent, fulfillment of legal obligations, establishment or performance of contracts, and legitimate interests of the data controller without harming fundamental rights and freedoms.

The following categories of personal data may be processed:

• Identity Information: Name, surname, company name, job title
• Contact Information: Email address, phone number
• Transaction Security Information: IP address, browser type, device and access logs
• Request Information: Messages, project inquiries, technical requests

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

• Responding to inquiries related to robot retrofit and automation services
• Managing communication and customer relationships
• Improving website functionality and user experience
• Ensuring information security and operational continuity
• Fulfilling legal and regulatory obligations

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Personal data may be transferred to third-party service providers, business partners, or authorized public institutions, limited to the purposes stated above and in compliance with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK. Necessary technical and administrative measures are taken to ensure data security during such transfers.

5. Rights of the Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, data subjects have the right to:

• Learn whether personal data is processed
• Request information regarding processed personal data
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly
• Request correction or deletion of incomplete or incorrect data
• Object to outcomes resulting from automated data processing
• Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing
